Your First Day at Rose of York
We look forward to meeting you on your first day at Rose of York where we will welcome you to the school and you can start to learn and practise English! We will introduce you to your new class and key members of staff. Additionally, you will learn about the school and our facilities. And, most importantly, you will do a placement test and have a chat with the Director of Studies about your study needs and skills.
Timetable
8.55am
Arrive at Rose of York Language School, 45 Oxford Street, London, W1D 2DZ and go to reception to enrol.
9am
You will do your placement test in the Student Room; this will take about 25 minutes.
9.30-9.45am
You will meet the Director of Studies to discuss your Individual Learning Plan. Then, you will do a short speaking test.
9.45-10.15am
Welcome and induction. During this time, you will learn about our health and safety procedures. Additionally, you will get information about our busy social programme. Then, you will have a tour of the school and the area around.
10.15-10.30am
You will have a chance to meet the other new students. You will, then, receive your student card and the details about your class. Please note, you will need to buy a coursebook in your first week of study.
10.45am
Finally, you join your new class, meet the teacher and your new classmates and start learning! And now, to practise English!
12.15pm
Lunch
Your timetable might be different from other students.
